I have been a Corvette owner and enthusiast since 1972. When I purchased a 2011 Grand Sport last year, I immediately recognized the high temperature operation of the engine was undesirable. I searched for an aftermarket solution that would not require reprogramming the ECM, but found nothing suitable. I am a retired NASA Aerospace Control Systems design engineer, and also an ASE Certified auto mechanic, so I decided to design my own solution. I would now like to share it with other Corvette owners who believe that Chevrolet may have got this fan operation wrong. (Remember the Steering Column Lock problem that should have been a simple software timing change.)
